Job Summary

Work with Giant Eagle vendors and Merchandising business units to create and validate weekly ad circulars, authorize and implement vendor item promotions. Ensure all item promotions and pricing are aligned with corporate zone structure. Create non product invoices, vendor repays, store credits and maintain invoice tracker spreadsheet.

Job Description

• Experience Required: Experience working with large sets of data and data systems

• Experience Desired: Preferable knowledge of center store grocery merchandise and ERP system

• Education Desired: Bachelors Degree

Job Responsibilities

• Authorize vendor submitted deals and promotions within Deal Central application validating cost zone accuracy

• Perform weekly ad circular verification against pricing applications, SharePoint, Deal Central and Retail Pricing

• Use Lago to create physical item promotion that will appear in weekly ad circular

• Proofread items in weekly ad circular, reviewing item descriptions, images, sizes and promo types

• Work with category manager to maintain cost links, families and problem pricing resolutions

• Create manual invoices for non-product expenses, submit invoice adjustments, vendor repays and store credits; maintain income tracker spreadsheet with current information

• Collaborate with US counterpart team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks

• Act as business liaison with IS to develop and test new merchandising technology

• Use lean principles to develop and implement work design, standardized activities, and feedback loop that improves productivity

• Improve KPI metrics of invoicing and payment processes, IR exceptions, Repays, Problem Pricing etc.

• Maintain documentation of best practices for all processes

• Ensure all tasks and projects are delivered within timelines flawlessly

• Continually look for process improvement on workflows and designs

• Convert vendor item data to align with company strategies/initiatives and system requirements
