Fragrance & Beauty Logistics Officer at Givaudan – Your future position?

Receiving : To receive raw materials, goods and equipment’s physically and cross verify for their identification. To book-in the consignment received, prepare the goods receipt note (GRN) and tag the labels generated to the appropriate material. To prepare the samples of all such received raw materials and temporarily locate the goods to their designated holding bays inside the quarantine area, in addition to working in tandem with the Q.C section for their analysis and results. To ensure that the materials are removed and staged into the main warehouse as per their pre-designated locations, post their approval.
Preparation of goods receipt documentation, effective floor area utilization and inter-departmental co-ordination

Inventory management – Finished goods : To receive and arrange finished goods inside the bonded warehouse which have been processed in the factory, after duly verifying for the correct-ness as per the finished goods transfer note raised by the indenter. To record and update receipts of all such finished goods transferred.

Shipping: To be competent in ensuring that the finished goods including the traded consignment are staged, cross-verified and kept ready for shipment as per the picking list released from logis-tics section. To certify and vet the acceptability of the truck intended for the shipment prior to re-leasing the goods for loading inside the trucks. To supervise the containerization and palletizing operation of the finished goods into the transport truck, through safe and proper handling of the consignment, besides co-ordinating with the logistics department to ensure proper handing over of the shipping documents.

To ensure a proper mechanism of complying with all the warehouse related formats. Active team player with an open mind for continuous improvement process. To have a constant endeavour and the urge to learn on the usage of all new systems being implemented.

Your professional profile includes:

• University degree with any specialization
• 3 to 5 years of experience in inbound logistics
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong commitment to collaboration
• Good understanding of documentation on Imports and Exports. Preferably understanding of region of Middle East and Africas.
• Competency in Microsoft applications and SAP ERP
• High level of agility
