You will drive innovation in structural systems, guide a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve cost-effective, sustainable solutions.Key Responsibilities * Structural design and expertise

• Provide expert guidance on structural systems, analysis, design and detailing of elements like footings, piles, columns, shear walls, slabs and beams
• Evaluate construction methodologies (RCC, precast, composite structures, etc.) and create best-practice guidelines
• Review structural schemes for efficiency, buildability and alignment with organisational goals
• Development and innovation

• Compare structural systems (e.g., framed structures, flat slabs, waffle slabs) to identify cost-effective alternatives
• Assess formwork technologies like Mivan, tunnel form and precast solutions for optimised material consumption
• Implement Building Information Modelling (BIM) at an organisational level
• Process Adherence & Improvement

• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, project timelines and safety standards
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and boost productivity
• Leadership and collaboration

• Guide and mentor a team of structural engineers, fostering skill development and project excellence
• Collaborate with costing, procurement, planning, quality and safety teams to maintain project control
• Evaluate new consultants and vendors, ensuring alignment with quality and cost standards
• Technical reviews and research

• Conduct peer reviews of design deliverables, including geotechnical reports, analysis models and reinforcement detailing
• Stay updated on advancements in structural design, global trends and national/international codes
• Lead organizational initiatives in standardization, cost optimization and time reduction

• B.E. Civil/M.Tech (Structures) from a reputed institution

Experience:

• 13+ years for Deputy General Manager and 15+ years for General Manager roles
• Proven track record in managing structural designs for high-rise residential and township projects

Skills:

• Hands-on experience with software such as ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, BIM 360 etc.
• Knowledge of value engineering in the design of structures at various design stages
