Google Hiring for Accounting Analyst, Finance Operations at Bengaluru, India Full Time

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or other professional accounting qualification.

• 4 years of experience with public accounting or industry.

• Experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with A/P Accounting.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity, with effective business acumen.

• Ability to work in a cross-functional, fluid environment, and drive initiatives.

• Excellent communication skills, and ability to work well separately and in a team environment.

• Manage activities, including preparing, analyzing and posting journal entries.

• Review reconciliations of balance sheet account balances including relevant reporting for the same.

• Identify opportunities to centralize, eliminate, or automate activities. Review processes and implement controls to ensure we are mitigating risk for Google.

• Manage, establish, implement global processes for the accounting of initiatives (ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and operational excellence), and prepare for, and assist with internal and external audits.

• Collaborate with our global team and advocate best practices to ensure proper accounting is adhered to throughout the procurement process.
