Job Purpose :The role of Product Manager (Plasters) is to ensure growth of Saint-Gobain’s Plasters solutions in the building segment. The role needs to analyze the market potential & leverage opportunities in the market by drawing up sales & marketing strategy which is aligned to the business plan and ensure delivery of above strategy.

Growth & strategy

• quality leadership for Saint-Gobain’s internal and external customers in all assigned tasks, while always upholding Saint-Gobain’s values establishing an environment and foundation for future sales growth.
• for market mapping, product management, segmentation & developing market penetration strategies for the segment.
• for generating sales revenue and profitability.

Collaboration

• for working together with a team of Regional Managers and their team of Sales & Specification Managers to develop business in the given segment.
• training and coaching to sales teams.
• coordinate with all supporting functions in order to deliver upon the agreed business strategy.

Business Development

• closely with key customers – consultants, end customers in building specifications to offer
• management using CRM / digital tools.
• leads and follow up on projects for selling performance-based solutions.

Marketing

• product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging,
• service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
• technical solutions / calculation tools etc. for providing solutions to customers.
• market trends and gather competitive information, identify trends that effect current
• future growth of regional sales and profitability.
• with BIS and other government agencies to develop codes meeting global standards.
• digital marketing activities including content development and campaigns on website,
• media etc.
• marketing tools like brochures, presentations, expos, retail meets etc.
• customer engagement activities and NPS

Job Knowledge/Work Experience:

• Knowledge in sales and marketing of Building Material Industry or related
• (same target customer).
• experience in Product management / Marketing management in building
• companies providing technical solutions to builders and IHB market.
