The Opportunity
After several years of major technology investment growth, we are committed to investing to grow and enhance our member-centric technologies at an even faster pace.
As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will work as part of a team in our Hyderabad office (a very modern office with a great location in Hitec City) to design and develop several high-quality Data Pipelines/Pipeline Automation using modern cloud technologies, including:

• Hands on contribution to the scalable Batch and Streaming ETL pipelines, DWH design and Data modelling, Data Governance initiatives, tools and applications that make that data available to other teams and systems.
• Build, prioritize and implement automation tasks in the SDLC
• Integrating security practices and tools to build pipelines to ensure we are delivering high quality solutions with no security risks.
• Hands-on experience with debugging tools, good debugging skills, and analysis skills.
• Being able to solve problems proactively, independently and ensure systems are stable and meets availability SLAs.
• Experience Azure or Google Cloud Platform and ETL workloads
• Ensure systems/applications are up to date with latest (N-1) technologies/upgrades
• Collaboration with other engineering and internal stakeholders and ensure products are improved and delivered.

You will have the opportunity to develop these technologies from the ground up and therefore significantly influence the architecture and implementation of these data pipelines and applications and the journey of PA.
The Person
We seek a bright, inquisitive, energetic, and skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad.
Successful candidates will have a bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, from a top university, and 5+ years of work experience.
Further, candidates will have experience in a wide range of development:

• 4+ years of strong experience with Data lake systems, data transformation & ETL on large data sets using open technologies like Azure Synapse, Spark, SQL and Python
• 4+ Experience building, testing, and optimizing ETL/feature/metric pipelines
• Experience in advanced Data Warehouse concepts & Data Modeling experience (i.e., Relational, Dimensional)
• 3+ years of complex SQL with strong knowledge of SQL optimization and understanding of logical & physical execution plans
• Experience building/operating highly available, data processing systems of data extraction, ingestion, and processing of large data sets
• Experience building data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets from multiple sources
• 3+ years of Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, ADLS, Lakehouse and ETL (must have).
• Experience in PySpark/Python is a must have.
• Experience with Databricks is preferred (nice to have)
• Strong knowledge of one or more of Python, Shell programming.
• Experience in Batch & Streaming, ingesting, and processing.
• Demonstrated strength in communications with internal and external stakeholders with a focus on customer service
• Demonstrated ability to independently work with limited direction and manage multiple projects/customers/priorities simultaneously
