Position Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and highly qualified IT Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Information Technology or Robotics Engineering and a proven ability to effectively teach and engage students of varying ages and skill levels. Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development & Instruction:
• Design and deliver engaging and effective IT/Robotics lessons aligned with relevant curriculum standards.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching methods, including hands-on activities, projects, and technology integration.
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages student exploration and critical thinking.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their learning goals.
• Utilize a variety of teaching aids, including computers, software, robotics kits, and other relevant technologies.
• Technology Integration:
• Integrate technology effectively across all subject areas, fostering digital literacy and 21st-century skills.
• Maintain and troubleshoot computer hardware and software in the classroom and school environment.
• Assist in the selection and implementation of new educational technologies.
• Provide technical support to students and staff as needed.
• Student Support:
• Guide and mentor students in their IT/Robotics projects and competitions.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
• Address student learning challenges and provide appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure student success.
• Professional Development:
• Stay current with the latest advancements in technology and education.
• Participate in professional development workshops and conferences to enhance teaching skills.
• Contribute to the professional growth of colleagues by sharing best practices.
• Other Duties as Assigned:
• Participate in school-wide events and activities.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Robotics Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Strong understanding of computer hardware and software, including operating systems, networks, programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++), and cybersecurity.

Job Type: Full-time
