What you’ll be doing
The Learning Administration Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and learning operations support to Hitachi’s employees, contractors, and learning partners as part of Hitachi’s overall talent development strategy. They coordinate and communicate learning logistics and feedback for Learners, the Business, and the Learning Design & Delivery Teams. The Specialist also closely partners with the Learning Management System (LMS) Technology and HiNext(Workday) teams to manage learner profiles and data and address LMS functionality issues.
This role will be a mixture of remote working and based from Hitachi’s office in Bangalore.

Maintain Hitachi’s global course catalogue in the Learning Management System
Set up courses and sessions in the LMS and manage session scheduling
Communicate learning course availability and enrollment updates with learning stakeholders
Support scheduling, enrollment, and registration of in-person, virtual, and online courses
Arrange learner accommodations (e.g., transportation, dietary accommodations, accessibility) as requested
Communicate and confirm course logistics with learner, involving stakeholders (e.g., learning designer) as necessary
Manage procurement and shipment of course materials, supplies, and technology equipment
Prepare physical spaces for learner instruction, including material layout, signage, etc.
Partner with LMS and Workday teams to configure and manage learner profiles
Capture and report on overall learner attendance and course evaluations, including instructor feedback and learner satisfaction
Acts as point of escalation for Tier 1 learning inquiries, redirecting complex or unusual inquiries to the Design & Delivery Team, Talent Development COE, or the Business
Experience with Workday Learning module will be highly desirable
