Designation: – Traffic Expert

Job Description-

• Operations, services, and activities of a traffic engineering program.

• Principles of supervision, training and performance evaluation.

• Equipment and materials used in street construction and maintenance.

• Traffic signal timing methods and software.

• Independently plan, perform and coordinate advanced level professional and technical traffic engineering studies and surveys.

• Write clear, concise and accurate technical and non-technical reports, correspondence and memoranda; prepare reports, agreements and accurate records.

• Coordinate traffic engineering activities with activities of other divisions and outside organizations.

• Coordinate traffic engineering activities with activities of other divisions and outside organizations.

• Knowledge of ITMS /ATCS implementation system.

• Knowledge of Integrated Video Management system i.e. Red-light violation detection, Free Flow ANPR, Speed violation detection.
• Experience in Camera configuration, installation, connectivity and commissioning work.

• Incident and problem management troubleshooting skill on L1 level.

• May assist in the field engineering and inspection of signals and other traffic control devices.

• Provide information to the public about traffic operations and planning for future projects; attend meetings with City police officers and school district staff related to school safety issues; receive, investigate and respond to complaints regarding traffic signals and hazards.

• Should have the ability to work with clients to understand requirements and design solutions to address their Infrastructure Security needs.

• Strict SLA compliance at all stages.

• Provide SOP’s or other manuals as required or requested.
