Responsibilities:
Understand Banking process, treasury accounting, intercompany financing process and associated reconciliation requirements
Understanding of Record to report (R2R) domain
Understanding of Bank reconciliation, having Treasury, AP & AR knowledge will be added advantage
Understand and adhere to Reconciliation compliance policies and standard procedures
Reconcile and implement standard HP Reconciliation practices to non-standard diverse reconciliations
Comprehensive review and validation of back up documents including but not limited to bank/investment statements, legal contracts, financing options, capital structures, loans and year-end company financial reports.
Timely and effective reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as per pre-defined HP Reconciliation policy & procedures without any compliance & quality issues
Reporting and quantification of key financial data with regard to cash & cash equivalents, intercompany financing and capital holdings
Recording Journal Entries in SAP environment, with HP JE policies and procedures.
Fair understanding of General Accounting concepts and Record to Report Functions
Perform Month End close activities, wide range of reporting and deliverables predefined.
Work closely with customers and global partners in proactively resolving issues impacting financials
Applying AFM, Accounting Concepts (Compliance) to validate/review deliverables
Qualification:
A Commerce Graduate with a fair experience in above qualities required
Competencies:
Sound knowledge of finance and accounting concepts especially in General accounting area
Ability to work with complex calculations, vast number of reports and complex multi-national financial documents including audited financial statements.
Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
Good excel skills and other MS office suites
Good time management skills & strong ability to adhere to targets on strict deadlines
Ability to multitask, effective follow-up and follow-through skills, effective organization and prioritization skills
Dynamic, highly analytical, with excellent problem solving skills & proven leadership abilities
A team player with initiative and customer focus.
