Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Finance Transformation Consultant at IBM you will help reinvent businesses and the finance function by developing and utilizing specialized knowledge of finance, accounting and competitive strategies for the industry.
Through broad understanding of market trends and business impacts of new and emerging technologies, combined with deep analytical, business modeling, business case, advanced communication and presentation skills; you will provide advisory services to CFOs and leadership teams to grow revenues, manage cost and ensure regulatory compliance.
Manage complex components of an engagement, working closely with clients and their customers to understand their pain points. Your strategic recommendations will drive change in a digitally-enabled era and give you the opportunity to collaborate with highly talented IBMers.
Responsibilities:

• You will assist clients to determine their business issues and recommend solutions to drive business value. You will be responsible to document current, and design future operational scenarios (processes, models, rules, use cases, policies, plans and solutions).
• You will apply in-depth consulting skills and business knowledge to analyze the client’s business issues, formulate hypotheses and test conclusions to determine appropriate solutions. “
• You will work with the client and other consultants to convert business requirements into a set of structured business process, knowledge, technology, and organization specifications that satisfy the client’s strategic and operational objectives.
• Assist the finance function to outline the value proposition and prepare the roadmap for finance transformation, aligned to the finance vision and strategic objectives.
• Assess, define and develop a finance target operating model. Design business and process models, and help define finance technology strategy, architecture and roadmap. “
• Help define a sustainable cost reduction model for the business and enterprise functions, including finance operations.
• Define finance service delivery model and develop business case; by performing a comprehensive Shared Services/ Global Capability Center assessment, including activity analysis, process split and governance.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Overall industry experience of 15+ years
• Expertise in providing business processes advisory services by performing current state assessments, identify improvement areas and design optimal future state using the latest BPM tools.
• Demonstrate your finance domain expertise to execute technology led enterprise transformation projects for our clients
• Proficient in finance and related business process discovery / analysis in order to advice clients on best practices and propose leading ERP solutions and exponential technologies on Automation , Blockchain, Intelligent Workflows and Analytics, driven by AI.
• Specialize in FP&A consulting and implementing Enterprise Performance Management technology solutions.
• Experience to work on Practice building initiatives, training, pre-sales, solution design and pioneering engagements.
• Expertise to engage in various professional forums and participate in community events.
• Solid understanding to work on varied roles in the Project, based your skill and experience on business process and finance related technology.
