Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are:
“This role will primarily revolve around data base/ datastage/ETL / governance etc. which is part of the larger AI Ladder .. Collect – Organize – Analyze – Infuse. For a successful AI journey, we need a robust IA (Information Architecture).
Role will demand to work with multiple stakeholders across IBM as well as other organizations. Based on the market demands & priority, role would demand you to work across different projects, time zones, teams etc
What you’ll do:

• Be a trusted Advisor of the Customer in the space of Database/DataStage/Governance
• individual contribution / work with team of IBM Database / CP4D engineers for assigned projects
• As a Tech solution owner, have the technical ownership of a given project (DB2, Datavases, ETL, WAS & Business automation tools) Ensure successful delivery of the project
• Ensure & maximize team’s technical capability of IBM Datastage & CP4D (as applicable) product stack .
• Be a hands-on person, and deliver. Essentially walk the talk.
• Will be involved in product installation/ configurations, trouble shooting (performance, 3rd party integrations, security), deliver class room training etc.
• Based on customer requirements, propose / review solution arch. Own / contribute (technical) sections wrt RFP, SoW, DoU’s, Project planing etc

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
“Mandatory

• Good Knowledge of IBM DB2 Warehouse products
• Good knowledge of SQL and database such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 etc
• Curation and cleaning of data from various entities.
• Knowledge of IBM DataStage ETL tool administration, installation and configuration
• Knowledge of IBM DataStage ETL job development, deployment and configuration
• Experience in developing Complex ETL jobs using Data Stage ETL tool
• Experience in leading a technical team and Interacting with stakeholders for requirement gathering and Analysis
• Good knowledge ETL design and development, logical and physical data modeling (relational and dimensional)
• Good Knowledge of IBM Watson Knowledge Catalog or IGC Product
• Hands-on implementation experience with IBM IGC or WKC products

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Cloud Pak for Data and Open Shift Architecture and Deployment
• Good Knowledge and Understanding on IBM Data Governance and Data Virtualization concepts
• Python and R, Shell Scripting
• Docker and kubernets
• RHEL
