Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are:
As a Program/Release Manager, you enjoy working on a variety of projects, and ensuring that all the loose ends are tied up at project completion / product delivery.
The Cloud Pack for Data System (CPDS) team works on an industry leading high-performance hybrid cloud on-premises Data and AI platform in a box. This hyper-converged high-performance infrastructure combines storage, compute, networking, and software into plug-and-play nodes which can easily and elastically scale to suit changing data and AI needs. The components are architected using modern technologies, and the team adopts a blend of agile and traditional methodologies to deliver with speed and quality
What you’ll do:

• You will work across the organization to coordinate product planning and release/delivery activities.
• You will also work on a variety or projects that touch multiple areas of the product delivery lifecycle.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Total 10+ years of experience
• Project Management Fundamentals, a Technical Background or Technical Understanding.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong presentation skills and meeting management skills.
• Ability to build cross-team cross-org relationships.
• Flexibility and the ability to pivot as needed without negative impact. Ability to work through ambiguity.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with IBM Release Management and Licensing Tools (LICR)
• Strong Project Management Skills (a PMP certification is a plus)
• Understanding of IBM’s Release Process
• Experience running SCRUM and Cross-Squad Scrum-of-Scrum sessions
• Working Knowledge of the Agile Development Process
• Strong Planning and Follow-Up Skills
