Your Role and Responsibilities
The associate will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, automating observability solutions. He/she will be contributing on engineering solutions the next generation observability capabilities for the enterprise involving both on-prem and cloud observability. As a Observability Architect, you will apply your deep expertise in engaging with top technology architects in Global Systems Integrators that work with IBM. Aside from partner facing role, you will apply your deep domain expertise to propose and build innovative and repeatable offerings for GSI that are powered by IBM products. In addition, will apply your deep domain expertise across the entire IBM portfolio , identify gaps and work with product teams to build solutions that partners can take to market using Cloud Pak for Watson AIOPs. CPWatson AIOPs is an AI-powered, AIOPs platform that enables the IT Operations Management with AI.

As an Observability Engineer your responsibilities include – expertise across the entire IBM portfolio , identify gaps and work with product teams to build solutions that partners can take to market using Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps. Today IT is grappling with new challenges. Costly outages are causing enterprises massive economic and reputational damage. Huge increases in data are driving the need for a new way of working to get ahead.AIOps is the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance IT operations.Watson AIOps provides a holistic view of your entire application and IT environment by pulling together data across siloed IT stacks and tools so we can resolve complex IT issues.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 7+ years of relevant experience in IT Operations/Site Reliability engineering domain
• Deep expertise of 5+ years in implementing leading SRE/IT Ops products
• Excellent Communication, customer facing and technical leadership skills
• Ability to pick up new areas like AI and work hands on in developing proof of concepts
• Able to provide technical guidance to a team of lesser experienced professionals

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Exposure to mutilple technologies other than Telco network design and architecture
• Exposure to machine learning, data science or blockchain
• Exposure to areas like new solution innovation and pre-sales
