Your Role and Responsibilities
Who You are:

• You will be a Backend developer who will be designing/developing/automating/testing features for SDN products

What you will do:

• As an SDN Backend Developer you will apply your deep expertise to design, develop, automate and test NFV/SDN components/features and its associated life cycle operations across various supported virtual infrastructure manager (VIM) stacks using test driven development approach
• Resolve customer issue with mixture of business acumen and technical competence
• Actively participate in release and sprint planning sessions
• Collaborate with Architects, technical leads and development teams across locations
• Contribute to innovations that can be built into the product, getting exposure to NFV and NFVI from a wide variety of vendors

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience: 4 to 7 years
• 4+ years of development experience with Java, Python
• 2+ years of development experience with Go Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Webframeworks : Spring/Springboot
• Experience in developing large-scale distributed systems based on Microservices architecture and api development
• Experience using version control systems like Git
• Experience in agile development methodology
• 2+ years of experience in Virtualization technologies (VMs, Containers, SDN, xNFs)
• Strong problem solving and software troubleshooting skills
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline creation using Jenkins, goCD or any other equivalent tools
• Has exposure to Open Source (adoption and contributions)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with Shell scripting, Linux Commands and Linux Operating system
• Experience in using & Configuring cloud infrastructure (server, network, storage) for product/app development.
• Knowledge and experience in Openstack, OpenShift
• Good Understanding of Telco Domain, Core & IP networks and network functions
• Has exposure to Open Source (adoption and contributions)
• Experience in any one of the Cloud Native development on platforms like Openstack, Virtualization platforms like Openstack and Vmware
