ICF Looking For Contracts & Risk Manager at Delhi Cantonment, Delhi, Full Time

Main Responsibilities

• Review of Client Invitation to Tenders / Request for Proposals, to highlight potential commercial risks and to provide advice on mitigation measures. (Clients include but are not limited to: Indian commercial & Indian government, UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), European Commission, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Bank Reconstruction & Development, etc.)
• Review and negotiation of awarded contracts.
• Preparation and negotiation of services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements etc.
• Support in contract management, claims and variations.
• Interact with internal departments including Finance, Taxation, Treasury, Safety & Security, International Operations, Risk & Insurance etc.
• Support and assistance in the resolution of commercial disputes with clients
• Advise the operational teams on a wide range of commercial issues including but not limited to, the management and protection of intellectual property, contractual liability, conflict of interest, business ethics and data protection matters.
• Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for managing contracts, including Contract Management Systems
• Maintain Contract files including regular updating of ICF’s internal Contract Management System
• Support Data Protection matters (i.e. GDPR) across Europe and Asia Division (One trust questionnaires, privacy statements, DPAs etc.)

Basic Requirements

Applicants will need to demonstrate the following:

• At least 5-6 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Indian and English Contract Law
• Experience of Intellectual Property and Data management.
• MS Word and MS Power Point skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of European and Indian Government Procurement processes
• Knowledge of the contractual procedures of various international funding organisations including the European Commission, World Bank, DFID, ADB, IFC etc.
• Negotiation skills in client-facing environments.
• Active Membership of IACCM (International Association for Contract & Commercial Management) or similar body
• Proven experience in a services consultancy environment
• Business-related or legal qualifications.
• GDPR related knowledge
• Intellectual Property management knowledge.
