We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Country Manager to oversee our operations and drive growth in India.

Job Description:

As the Country Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our operations in Trichy, India. You will work closely with senior executives to develop and execute strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives. Your main focus will be on driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth in the Indian market.
2. Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure high performance and employee engagement.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government agencies.
4. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks, and make data-driven recommendations to senior management.
5. Oversee the development and execution of marketing and sales initiatives to expand our customer base and increase market share.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective operations, including supply chain management, finance, and human resources.
7. Develop and maintain a positive company culture that promotes teamwork, innovation, and employee satisfaction.
8. Ensure compliance with local regulations and legal requirements, as well as company policies and procedures.
9. Prepare and present regular reports on performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives to senior management.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
2. Proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably as a Country Manager or General Manager, with a successful track record of driving business growth and achieving targets.
3. Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective strategies.
4. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve high levels of performance.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Sound knowledge of the Indian market and cultural nuances, along with an understanding of local business practices and regulatory frameworks.
7. Demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions and use analytical tools to monitor and evaluate performance.
8. Proactive and result-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and drive continuous improvement.
9. Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional local languages is a plus.
