As a QA Engineer for the team, following is the overview of the position

• Understand and define testing and create test suites for the new features developed by the Smart 3D Integration teams.

• Closely work with the PO, Development during the design phase of the new implementation and should be able to guide the team on the Integration workflows and its application.

• Should be able to understand the automation framework and contribute to the functional/automation coverage whenever needed.

• Thoroughly test the functionality, report issues and verify the fixes provided by the development teams to ensure the objectives are met.

• Work with the QA counterparts and stakeholders during the update and major Release to provide the needful assistance.

As a QA Engineer,

• Should gain good knowledge on different types of Engineering 3D Design and Integration Tools say Smart 3D, SmartPlant Foundation, SDx etc.,

• Should work on Postman APIs and gain good knowledge on the background processes.

• Should be able to understand the User stories and create exhaustive Test cases to ensure the functionality is robust.

• Should be able to understand and follow QA process (Scrum) and ensure minimal bugs/issues are reported by the QA once the implementation is done.

• Should be able to create the test suites using Microsoft technologies and ensure maximum automation is achieved by simplifying the test cases.

• Should be able to test, report and verify the fixes provided by the development team in a timely fashion.

• Need to contribute to the QA team/Scrum Master/Manager on prioritizing the backlog

• Should be able to work with the QA team members and other counter parts on the release testing.

• Bachelor of Engineering.

• Should have working knowledge of 1-3 years of experience with 3D and Integration products like Smart 3D, SmartPlant Foundation, SDx, etc.

• Should be team player, good communication skills, work with overseas counterparts

• Possess Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills.

Should have working experience in following tools (required) or relevant tools.

• 3D Designing/Modelling products like Smart 3D, Integration products like SmartPlant Foundation, SDx etc.

• Desirable to have experience on Testing tools, processes, good understanding of STLC.

• Should have strong understanding of Plant Industry practices, terminologies, workflows.

• Need to have Fundamentals of Mathematical, Engineering Concepts and logical reasoning.

• Have Basic knowledge on PL/SQL, Databases and Programming (C#, .NET) will be added advantage.

• Windows Operating Systems – 7 and 10.

• Microsoft Suit of products Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
