Job Description

Responsibilities : 1. Designing of all types of furniture like commercial, residential , retail, luxury furniture, modular etc.2. Preparation of Presentation Drawing, detailed working drawing, furniture production knowledge (is a must)3. In-depth knowledge of furniture systems, material, finishes, techniques and industry trends and finishes.5. Organize plans and schedules with respect to the availability of resources6. Generate sample designs using computer-aided design (CAD), card models, sketches or hard prototype’s9. Experience in Furniture Designing, production and execution for all types of furniture.
10. Use software packages such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks and Photoshop
prepare detailed final designs.
11. Coordinate with craftsmen or production department staff12. Evaluate issues such as pricing and fixing costs, fashion, purchasing, safety, materials and manufacturing methods and techniquesQualifications & Skills1. Minimum Bachelor’s or PG Degree in Furniture Design or related discipline.2. Min 3 years and max 6+ years’ relevant experience in Furniture Designing, production & execution3. Proficient Knowledge and Experience in Auto Cad, Google Sketch Up, 3d Max, Rendering, Photoshop and other related software.4. Having Sound Knowledge of Furniture Designing , materials, finishes and latest industry trends.5. Creative and practical ability, drawing skills and strong visual awareness6. Flexibility and adaptability and the ability to work to deadlines7.
