Action for Rural Rejuvenation (ARR) is a unique, well-defined plan to rejuvenate rural India, revitalize the human spirit, and restore the fundamental bond among rural communities.
Project Green Hands (PGH), the environmental branch of Isha, has grown out of a deep concern for the global effects of deforestation and land degradation. PGH wants Tamil Nadu to be a beacon of environmental responsibility, illustrating what is possible when people take action now to save their environment.
AYUSH-Isha Organic Health Systems is a pioneering project launched by Isha Outreach in collaboration with the government of India’s AYUSH department. The holistic programs are aimed at improving the health of the rural population, while simultaneously ensuring a model of sustainable healthcare.

Purpose of the Job
- Must be well-versed with the Isha way of life and will be a brand ambassador of Isha
- Ideal candidate should have worked in self-help groups and must be familiar with the work practices of FPOs
- Must have good communication skills and a natural affinity to farming & agriculture
- Must have good project management skills, leadership skills and good people skills
- Preferably good proficiency over MS Office, MIS, Communication systems and social media
- Candidate must be comfortable with the local language apart from fluency over English Language
- Ideal candidates will also be familiar with the Isha Foundation & the Agro Movement work of the last 14 years
- Would be preferable if the candidate’s goals were in alignment with the goals of the Isha Outreach program
Job Responsibilities
Facilitate effective working of the FPOs and the CBBO with linkage to the overall purpose. Provide overall guidance with the sight firmly set on short, medium and long term goals. Will work closely with the ground level team
