Job Description- Our company is committed to always providing quality Paints & Varnishes to its consumers. Being in this industry for more than 30 years we find it our responsibility to regularly keep checks on our product formulations. therefore we are looking for an experienced individual who can support us in all our chemical based Research and developments for the coming future.

Job Role

• Perform and document results of regularly scheduled laboratory tests
• Assist in new product development and improvements of existing products
• Perform entry-level testing and comparison of experimental samples
• Prepare samples using laboratory dispersion and blending equipment.
• Conduct standard tests and some special tests, including but not limited to coatings application, viscosity, ICI, gloss, tint strength, density, pH, and scrub tests.
• Follow Standard Test Procedures, record and report problems associated with test equipment or test processes and speculate with accuracy the reason for them.
• Record, report, and interpret test results.
• Clean and maintain test equipment.
• Support product or process improvement ideas

Competencies:

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with solvents, additives pigments & resins.
• Working knowledge of routine PC applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

· Minimum Qualifications – Degree in chemistry, chemical engineer or equivalent discipline Minimum 7-10 years working experience

· Hands-on industrial experience in formulations and new product development for paints and coating segment.

· Experience in solvent-based coating, paints, especially for industrial market is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹240,000.00 – ₹360,000.00 per year
