About the team

The role will be a combination of team lead activities, day to day support and project work, with a strong focus on Business As Usual (BAU) activities. This will involve liaison at all levels within Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS) and various Business Communities.

What You Will Be Doing

Install and maintain up- to-date Operational System software, patch levels, firmware, drivers and related program products
Proficient in infrastructure architecture of large-scale, automated environments
Responsible for participating in the architecture
Provide administration, technical and user support for the Windows & Virtualization Server environment; including 3rd party and Microsoft applications, e.g.:
Minimum10+ years of experience on Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 & 2019
Microsoft Active Directory Services 2008/2012
SharePoint 2010/2013
Experience on Tools Like BigFix, McAfee, SolidCore, Solarwind
Extensive experience on VmWare & Microsoft Hypervisor environment with certification
Manage a team of technical individuals
Ensuring appropriate resourcing is available
Participate in and manage technical project work
Capacity planning
Own, identify, diagnose and manage issues to resolution
Proactively managing and coordinating service improvement initiatives
DR / BCP testing
Change Management
Monitoring and reporting of the server environment and SLAs

What we offer you

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Windows & Virtualization technology
Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows Server technologies & Virtualization
Excellent Active Directory Management & Design Understanding
Solid understanding of the following technologies
WAN / LAN technologies and principles
Storage Systems technologies i.e. EMC and NetApp
Database systems, especially Microsoft SQL 2005/2008
Understanding of SharePoint and its underlying components
ITIL foundation certificated would an advantage.
Proven ability to lead a technical team
Service oriented
A disposition to take responsibility
An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Organized with good attention to detail
Structured and methodical in problem solving
Strong communication skills and flexible team player
Flexibility to travel between locations.
Banking or Finance related business experience desirable.
