About The Role

Location- Tumkur, Karnataka

Reporting to – Factory Manager

As a Site Supply Chain Manager you will plan, coordinate and monitor the transfer of goods and materials from manufacturers and suppliers all the way through to customers. You will be responsible for managing a team of 6, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Material Call-Off, Import and Officer-level staff. Your role will be to strengthen supply chain competencies in the business and to monitor progress against established KPIs / targets, while supporting the team in meeting their goals and targets.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and objectives for the department in conjunction with business strategy
• Manage KPI and reporting
• Liaise with relevant internal functions (Sales, Production, R&D & QA) & external parties, (forwarder, shipping, government related authorities such as Customs, Commercial Chamber, MITI) on Supply Chain related activities
• Standardise Supply Chain process within Thailand, in line with Kerry Group operating model
• Ensure Demand, Supply Planning & Production Planning process to meet business plan with optimal inventory control level. Align with cross-functional team to achieve supply within quality, cost and proper turnaround time.
• Coordinate with Production for production planning.
• Manage Inventory control and stock at risk
• Manage the direct material sourcing and their contract. Coordinate with regional Category buyer to monitoring market movement and trend for key materials. Manage the sourcing of indirect material sourcing for Production Plan.
• Ensure the effective operation and running of the internal warehouse and external warehouse (from a quality and productivity perspective)
• Coach and mentor your team, analysing skills gaps and ensuring correct training is given to develop the team
• Assist the Supply Chain Commercialization Manager in coordinating cross-functional teams in order to ensure successful Coaching and coordinating cross-functional team to success new product launch with smoothly.
• Manage all inventories and ensure efficient storage and movement of material (Raw Material and Finished Goods)
• Manage to have product availability and delivery to customers On Time In Full
• Manage customer inquiries both local and inter-market supply
• Manager supplier performance in relation to quality and services
• Manage logistics efficiently, managing freight cos, duty, customs, etc.

Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a Supply Chain role with at least 5 years’ experience in a leadership role
• Preference for someone with Food & Beverage, Food Service or Ingredients / Flavour industry experience
• Cost management experience
• Good understanding of Food Management System, and Safety Environment Management System
• Proven capability to manage, monitor and review all import activities PO, shipment, eta port and eta warehouse
• Proficiency in SAP is must
• Customer satisfaction focussed
• Capable of working in cross-functional team (local and overseas)
• Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills
• Problem solving abilities, good organisational skills and follow-through
• Strong leadership & coaching skills
• Excellent interpersonal and project management skills
