Full Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for the overall Systems and Network support in terms of installing, maintaining, configuring, tuning, consolidating applications, developing system administration scripts, planning version release upgrades and patches, security administration and leading in the development of processes and policies surrounding server administration.
This administrator must also be involved with routine and special tasks such as
Accounts Creation
Backups of Data
Maintenance of Database and applications
Documentation of standards, policies, practices and system information
The candidate should be able to monitor, troubleshoot, support and fix operating system, applications and hardware problems on desktop, thinclient and server platforms.The candidate must be an excellent team member, should be unafraid to assume ownership and be willing to exchange knowledge with the rest of the team. Must be a self-starter, able to work independently and without supervision and capable of directing/mentoring other associates. The candidate must be willing to assist other teams when needed.
Ideal Candidate should have
Min 4 to 6 years operational experience in Window environment
Strong Knowledge of a. Desktop & Server Management
Fire wall Policies Management
VPN configurations and Troubling shooting Network Monitoring
Performing regular DATA backup/restore Procedures
Strong knowledge of Windows administration and troubleshooting
Should have worked on IBM Servers Hardware.
Follow up tickets and comply to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Supporting LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems
Focus RT ERP Application administration is preferable
Should have experience in e commerce.

Mandatory Skills
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP
DNS, DHCP and FTP
N Computing thinclient, Technologies
Network Monitoring
