Function: Forensic – Pre-Employment Background Checks (PEBC)
Location(s): Pune
KPMG PEBC Practice is one of the leading service providers in the industry for employee and vendor due diligence services. It helps clients make informed hiring decisions across levels or cadres by accessing the professional reputation and credentials of the potential employee through undertaking consent based verification. The practice has evolved into over 450+ member team across 5 locations in India servicing over 400+ clients and 40,000+ checks a month.
Role and responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include :
_ Conduct verifications of stated credentials given by client for their candidates or vendors
_ Summarize the information obtained in a concise manner and ensure documentation is done as per the standard operating procedures (SOPs) as defined by respective teams
_ Perform on business specific KPIs of productivity and quality targets
_ Maintain trackers and master logs on real time basis
_ Successful completion of client engagement deliverables in line with appropriate time-lines and adhering to pre-defined methodologies, ensuring high quality work delivery
_ Demonstrate ability to assimilate new knowledge with respect to process changes
_ Monitor progress and ensure that supervisors are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.

_ Business writing and presentation skills both oral and written that help promote clarity and also present persuasive options.
_ High level of computer literacy with specific knowledge of spreadsheets and MS-Office – power point in particular
_ Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills – both verbal and written
_ Ability to build collaborative and inclusive relationships within and outside of the firm
_ Resilience and agility especially during stringent deadlines,fast-changing environments, processes, and structures
_ Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact cross-functionally and/or with seniors, with an ability to convey messages in a clear and structured manner
_ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
