• Designing and developing database architectures that adhere to compliance guidelines.
• Design and develop data models, MS SQL Server database objects, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers and SSIS packages.
• Expert in database normalization and design. Uses “Best Practices” for database optimization to ensure exceptional system performance while remaining highly saleable.
• Perform complex analysis, design, development from user requirements and design documents.
• Troubleshoot and fix production issues.
• Maintain integrity, security, scalability and responsiveness of databases on multiple Azure SQL Servers.
• Familiarity with Star and/or Snowflake Schemas in Data Warehousing.
• Familiarity with Power BI a plus.

Requirements:

• Minimum level of education required is BA/BS degree in computer science or other technical discipline. Advanced degree is a plus.
• At least 3+ years of SQL development experience.
• Knowledge of cloud providers, especially Azure.
• Excellent communication skills in written and oral English.
• Experience with agile or scrum methodology and tools.
• Experience with understanding and implementing complex business logic.
• Broad understanding of entire SDLC and release management.
• Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and Application Lifecycle Management.
