The Role
Your Role and Responsibilities:
The Account Based Marketing (ABM) Specialist will report to the ABM Manager and will be missioned to provide resources and capabilities including strategy, services and standards (e.g., direction and consistency of ABM practices) to enable the Field Marketing teams to grow priority accounts. This is a key, senior role mandating a strategic mind-set, where he/she will be required to successfully drive the ABM mission globally, working closely with Kyndryl’s priority accounts’ Account teams, broader teams (Offering Management, Sales Enablement, Delivery, Ecosystem, etc), Field Marketers, ABM team, Market Activation leads, leadership, et al.
Responsibilities include:
Work to grow ABM accounts
Build and scale the Social Eminence program, in collaboration with other Social teams within Kyndryl, to drive spotlight on the Account teams and Customer Partners for Thought Leadership and industry eminence, thereby building customer relationships and reputation
Help co-create programs on Customer Eminence
Functionally drive the Social and Account Analytics (including LTV)
Help the ABM Manager run the ABM Program Management and ensure it stays compliant with all Kyndryl business practices
Work with the Market Activation Leads towards landing Fields of Play, Consult/Vital and Bridge in ABM accounts to change the conversation and reposition Kyndryl as a partner in their transformation journey. Track usage of centrally developed programs. Identify requirements from country teams and work to solution with what they need to be successful
Community and Culture: Build and maintain the ABM community Share point page with relevant success stories, recognition, etc. Foster the ABM Community
Standardizing and scaling the processes, including maintaining a standardized view of flight plans for every ABM account, available to anyone in Marketing with a need to know
Defining and executing education & enablement / skills (around ABM methodology, practices, skills, etc) for Field Marketers in Markets). Provide guidance, consultation and enablement to field marketers
Performance metrics include comparatively improved relationships, reputation and signings, revenue (vs non-prioritized accounts)
Drive Communications for impact:
Communications (on news and updates, performance, best practices, Q&As with Field Marketers, etc)
Market communication, ensuring the messaging from Central teams (and back) lands in a simplified and effective way, enabling execution
Effective collaboration and cross-pollination of best practices across FM / account / industry / market / FoP
Run the ABM Management System to ensure performance visibility to the rest of the organization:
Prep for reviews with Senior Executives meetings (President/Global CMO/Sales/Country CMOs/GTM Leader/ etc
Run the reporting process in close collaboration with the Strategy & Transformation team
Have a ready list of ABM accounts and their movement between quarters
Ensure anytime updated dashboards for measurement and tracking (working with the S&T team) for senior leadership, markets, etc
Gamify the 3Rs- revenue/signings, relationship and reputation – to motivate and excite the markets through healthy competition and increase adoption of the central programs in the process
Partner with the Transformation & Operations team to ensure the best-in-class and most updated ABM tech stack
Help provide a calendar of local activities across Fields of Play/Practices; overcome the top challenges Field Marketers’ face (including tracking and measuring the results, educating sales on the process and value of ABM, etc)
Build and update CoE deliverables for continued relevance – Best Practice Templates/ Examples, Management System, Closed Loop Feedback, Performance Measurement/ Dashboards, etc
Identify patterns from individual and multiple account-level insights to create repeatable, actionable responses
Help evolve the 2024 ABM Program Strategy/Framework
Drive One Team mindset, reinforcing Fast, Flat and Focused culture, aligned to our business strategy
Execute on People Manager responsibilities
The ABM Specialist in the ABM discipline in India, will help the ABM Manager develop the strategy, insights and business outcomes to help drive the 3 Rs (Revenue/Signings, Reputation, Relationships) for our Priority accounts. Who You Are
Required Technical and Professional Experience
More than 6 years of experience in Technology Industry.
5+ years of hands-on experience in related ABM/CoE expertise
Master’s degree or MBA (Marketing and/or Information Technology)
Strong communication and enablement skills
Experience and/or passion for Account Based Engagement
Other Skills:
Creative thinking with ability to establish new strategies and approaches where they may not currently exist
Comfortable to lead with passion in ambiguous situations
Extremely result-oriented and creative collaborator
Focus on data-driven marketing transformation
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
