The Role

Essential capabilities

• Experience in providing technology client service
• Proven ability to use relevant data analytics approaches and tools to problem-solve and trouble-shoot.
• Knowledge & experience with Build languages
• Focus on quality and detail.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to quality and auditability
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve solution developed in ServiceNow Platform
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements & solutions
• Write well designed & high-quality testable code
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Integrate software components into fully functional NOW platform
• Develop/contribute to software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing system
• Deploy programs/Update sets and evaluate customer/end-user feedback
• Comply with project plans, release management, industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Take assigned initiatives from inception to successful change deployment across relevant assets and platforms
• Recognized as a key contributor to the innovation, development and implementation of changes relating to value control and reconciliations
• Evidence of potential cost savings through process simplification, optimization and automation
• Stakeholder engagement – recognised as ‘trusted advisor’ to the business

Who You Are

Experience

It is expected that the role holder will most likely have the following qualifications and experience.

• 7+ years Technology experience
• 5+ years in application development roles
• Application development technical skills in ServiceNow. Understanding Discovery (schedules, credentials, firewalls).
• Hands-on experience in AWS/Azure cloud and legacy infra environment.
• Current ServiceNow foundation/sys admin certification is mandatory
• Software Delivery skills such as CI/CD, Software / Source Code Configuration Management.
• Platform automation tools (Jenkins, GITHUB)
• Workflow tools such as JIRA / Rally
