Your Role and Responsibilities

System Administrators are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our company and our clients. As a System Admin with Kyndryl, you will have the opportunity to provide high-value IT services and leverage our leading-edge technology portfolio in our global network. Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of, and access to, our most important resource: data.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Professional and Technical Expertise :

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an enterprise server environment

Experience in AIX (v6.1, 7.1, 7.2), GPFS/Spectrum scale v4.2, 5 PowerHA SystemMirror (v7.1, 7.2), PowerVM/VIOS (v2.2 and 3+), IBM pSeries Hardware (P7,8,9 models) Administrator

Indepth knowledge and experience with PowerHA SystemMirror administration, configuration, cluster build, storage addition and filesystem administration, cluster nodes, topologies, networks, and heartbeating concepts

Solid understanding of AIX system administration, user administration, file/directory permissions, LVM, maintenance of software and system patches, TCP/IP concepts, NFS, NIS, DNS, storage concepts, performance tuning.

Working experience with PowerVM/VIOS, HMC, Virtualization, LPM, NPIV, SAN-attached storage, NIM (Network Installation Manager)

Ability to perform with a team /coordination skills/ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure

Ability to perform in 24 x 7 Environment support based on shift roster
