Your Role and Responsibilities

Specializes in installing, maintaining, and upgrading.
Internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing products.
Controls user access and passwords.
Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system.
Monitors usage and performance.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Candidate should have minimum 5+ years of experience.
Managed Virtualization Environment using VM Ware ESXi 5.x, 6.x, VMWare vSphere 5.x,6.x and 7.x.
Installation, Configuration, Administration and Troubleshooting of ESX 5.x, 6.x, Vspere 5.x, 6.x Virtual Center.
Creating and Managing Virtual Machines and Templates.
Creating Clusters for High Availability (HA) and Distributive Resource Scheduling (DRS).
Configuring Resource Pool, V Motion, Alerts, Alarms.
Migrate Physical Servers to Virtual Server using VMware Converter (P2V Converter).
Migrating of Virtual Machines using V Motion.
Performing Snapshots, Cloning, Cold Migrations and Hot Migrations.
Creating Templates from VM’s, deploy VM’s from templates and allocate resources.
Monitoring of Virtual Machine’s &ESXi servers (CPU, Memory, Disk and Network Utilization) for Security.
Converting P2V and V2V using VMware Standalone Converter.
Migration of Virtual Machines using vMotion.
Creating Clusters for High Availability and Dynamic Resource Scheduling.
Creation of Virtual Switches and Port groups.
Troubleshooting issues relating to vMotion such as compatibility issues with help of event log.
Setting up Users and Groups for access to the Virtual Center.
Moving VM’s from one LUN to another LUN using Storage V-Motion.
Root Cause & System Log Analysis and reporting.
Organize tasks, events and Configuring alarms.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

Installation of VMware tools.
Upgradation of VMware hardware, VMware tool, vCenter, vSphere client and Esxi.
Vulnerability closure on Esxi and vCenter.
Dashboard and Report creation using vRops and Report automation.

Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree
