- Oversee daily operations of the stores and warehouse for the Valve manufacturing unit, ensuring optimal inventory levels and timely material availability.
- Develop and implement strategies for inventory control, cost reduction, and efficient materials handling.
- Lead a team of storekeepers and warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance management.
- Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to align inventory processes with production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all materials are tracked efficiently through the ERP system.
- Drive process improvements to optimize space utilization, reduce lead times, and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, material consumption, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Manage vendor relationships for storage-related services and supplies as needed.
- Knowledge in making modernised stores setup for operational efficiency, Digitalization & Continual improvements (Improvement Orientation)
