Larsen & Toubro Hiring for Supplier Quality Engineer at Chorasi, Gujarat, India Full Time
- Monitoring all QA & Inspection related to manufacturing of outsourced activities at supplier Works.
- To conduct NDT (MPI, DP, UT) inspections of rough, semi-finished & machined components (Castings, Forgings, Welded structures) at various stages as mentioned in QAP or drawing.
- Verify that products meet established quality standards and specifications. The inspector should be proficient in using measuring instruments (such as micrometres, callipers, bore gauges, etc.) to verify that dimensions conform to the specified tolerance levels.
- In-depth knowledge of fabrication methods, including welding, cutting, rolling. The inspector should have experience of inspection of Fabricated housings/shells or heavy jobs. Familiar with the inspection and testing of welded joints, seams, and other fabrication elements for quality and compliance.
- Liaison with client / customer / customer’s representative for inspection activities and clearances.
- Prepare test plan / inspection plan / checklist / I Forms for critical components, assemblies used for vendor inspections and shop inspections.
- Raise product NCRs wherever deviation observed & conduct root cause analysis on product NCRs and Customer complaints pertaining to vendor problems. Capable to handle NCR Management System.
- To verify & certify inspection reports, Test Certificates related to castings, machined components, and NDT inspections & to clear the material through SAP-QM.
