We are looking for a smart and dynamic Engineer with experience in developing ecommerce websites using Magento 2, to join our team in Chennai, India. As a Magento Developer, you will be responsible for liaising with the design team, setting up Magento 2x sites, building modules and customizing extensions and maintaining security and feature updates from technical perspective, be comfortable & experienced working as part of a collaborative team following agile methodology.
Responsibilities
Play a complete Backend development role for Magento store development, maintenance and upgradation.

• Building and configuring Magento 2x eCommerce websites.
• Coding of the Magento templates.
• Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices.
• Designing themes and interfaces.
• Troubleshooting integration issues.
• Updating website features and security patches.

Required Skills

• Experience in setting up end to end e-commerce shops
• You should have a minimum of 3 years of good hands-on experience with Magento Shops
• Should be able to develop and configure Magento based shops
• Experience with Magento 2
• Implementation & Use of current release of Magento
• Experience with PHP Programming on Magento and other Open-Source Tools Magento Architecture
• Design, Software Algorithm Design & Development Fundamentals
• Problem Solving & Debugging in the Live Environment
• Software Documentation & Software Testing
• Knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS, Javascript, AJAX
• Good Knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Understanding of MVC design patterns and frameworks (Zend) Knowledge in javascript libraries (Jquery, Prototype, React JS)
• Understanding of web services/payment gateways
• Experience in website development using php, Mysql
• Enjoy and excel at active technical discussion, information-sharing and collaboration.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Adaptable, self-driven, motivated, and eager to learn.
• Dedicated to solving problems elegantly and innovatively.
