LEPRA Society is a pan-India organization working for the people affected by Leprosy and other neglected diseases to transform their lives and overcome poverty, discrimination and disability. LEPRA endeavors to diagnose, facilitate treatment to those affected and help them to rehabilitate into the mainstream of the society. LEPRA works in collaborations with the Government and other funding agencies to reach into most inaccessible villages of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh states.
The Swabhiman 2.0 project is implemented in Koraput, Nabarangpur, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Nuapada & Bargarh districts in close collaboration with district NLEP Unit. LEPRA is successfully implementing the project since 1991 in this region. The project will contribute to the overall objective of the organization by Active case finding, Disability care, develop linkages for Social security schemes & entitlements and prevention of disabilities there by reducing transmission and promoting wellbeing of people affected by leprosy in 17 Blocks of 6 district in Odisha state. Women & children is a priority in all activities.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintenance of Books of Accounts up to Finalization level.
Execute the accounting and financial systems by maintaining all the registers, records, reports, formats that are prescribed in the financial manual of organization and ensure that they are adhered to and maintained upto date.
Updating the Accounts into Tally Accounting software and generate necessary reports as per LEPRA and donor requirements
Monitoring the cash flow, budget, and utilization of assets, inventories, purchases, staff welfare issues and other statutory requirements by physical verifications and internal audit for smooth and effective functioning of the project
Carry out all bank/cash transactions & processing, drafting/typing, correspondence of the functional area of responsibility to ensure proper documentation.
Assist in preparation of annual budget and Forecasts if necessary.
Preparation and maintaining records of staff salaries, compiling financial data, Income Tax.
Accurate and timely submission of monthly/quarterly/ half yearly/ annual expenditure reports.
Support the Project Officer in process documentation.
Any other functions, which will be entrusted from time to time as per the project requirements.
Experience and Skills required:
B Com with PGDCA
Minimum of two years experiences in Health Sector ,especially in Leprosy/LF
Skills required:Primary: Finance management, Documentation skill
Secondary: Coordination with GHS, Case studies & best practices
Additional skills required: Driving two wheelers
Willing to work in the IP care services and coordinate with other stake holders
This position will be Initially for 6 Months and likely to be extend as per project life.
Remuneration:Rs.12 ,000 /- Per month (All inclusive)
