Quality Analytics & Data Specialist
“Analytics Capabilities and Practices”, is a global group in London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). It works towards building advanced analytical capabilities including data science and predictive modeling, dashboarding and data visualization, and data stewardship. This team supports “Customer Operations- Data and Analytics” with latest Analytics tools and capabilities.
Job Requirements:

• Use Data Science (ML/DL/NLP Techniques) to develop solutions for “Customer Operations- Data and Analytics”.
• Work with large datasets to build unsupervised, semi-supervised and supervised machine learning /deep learning models.
• Perform statistical (and machine learned) analyses on data to build quality metrics like Accuracy, Completeness and Timeliness.
• Ability to track down complex data quality and data integration issues, evaluate different algorithmic approaches, and analyze data to solve problems. Curiosity about the details of datasets is essential.
• Manage senior level stakeholder engagements internally and externally to discover problems and use cases as well as to translate business impact of on-going and completed projects
• Take complete ownership of Projects and drive it to conclusion circumventing any obstacles being encountered.
• High level of confidence in communicating with senior business and technical leaders internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute Projects through hands on Data Science skills, removing obstacles and taking ownership to find creative solutions.
• Ability to find right data science solutions for business problems.
• Strong sense of algorithm: can think rigorously, anticipate how to identify common problems such as missing data, able to build re-usable modules of code that can be understood by peers.
• Translating end user needs to requirements.
• Manage all level stakeholder engagements to discover problems and use cases as well as to translate business impact of on-going and completed projects.
• Use multiple approaches to get un-stuck when research progress slows down.
• Able to quickly spot more subtle errors in data and analyses.
• Ensures that results are reproducible, correct and actionable.
• Developing relationships with peers in analytics across the company.

Knowledge & Skill

• Proficiency with Machine Learning/Deep Learning algorithms like Neural Networks, KNN, Naïve Bayes, Random Forest, SVM etc.
• 5+ years industry experience in Analytics with expertise in SQL and Python.
• Proficient in using tools and libraries such as scikit-learn, numpy, pandas, nltk, keras etc.
• Solid relational database skills and SQL knowledge.
• Narrate stories (to technical and mostly non-technical audience) about our content and processes by data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau or Python Packages like seaborn etc.
• Strong written, communication and presentation skills. Able to respond and present work to peers, stakeholders, clients and answer in-depth questions, accept constructive feedback and modify solution accordingly.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated professional who will come in from day one and be a quality partner. Your job is to develop solutions for “Customer Operations-D&A” using DB scripting skills and Data Science skills. There will be opportunities for you to build your own tools and design automation systems as necessary. You will need to self-learn in the subject-domains relevant to the technologies used.
