Experience working with embedded tools (compilers (IAR), debuggers)
• Experience developing embedded systems based upon ARM architectures.
• C++ code development, Object oriented design, unit testing and functional testing will all be requirements for this assignment
• Agile experience preferred
• Experience with Jira and Jama (a plus)
• Basic familiarity with hardware, including the ability to read schematics.
• Experience working with Git at scale (medium-to-large teams, medium-to-large codebases).
• Experience writing requirements specifications and design documentation.
• Experience with the fundamentals of integrating and delivering quality code at scale. This means some level of familiarity with automated build and test systems. (Jenkins preferred).
• Protocol I2C/SPI/ UART etc.
• Proficient with at least one widely known design and modelling tool (Visio and/or PlantUML preferred).
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Self-starters and directed
• Team players
• Be capable of asking for (escalating) and responding to help when necessary and appropriate.
• High degree of self-directedness and discipline.
• Follow engineering process, solid technical writing skills, keep sound and rigorous notes.
• Hands on experience in debugging of code in Linux based/any RTOS environment
