About Us:
BukuKas is a startup focused on digitizing Indonesia’s small businesses which recently raised $50 million in Series B funding. The round included participation from Gokul Rajaram, the DoorDash executive, and Taavet Hinrikus, co-founder and chief executive officer of TransferWise, Edward Tirtanata, founder of Kopi Kenangan, etc. BukuKas was founded by Krishnan Menon and Lorenzo Peracchione, who met while working at Lazada Indonesia. Since our launch as a digital bookkeeping app in December 2019, we have added new features, including online payments and an e-commerce platform. We have onboarded about 6.3 million businesses so far and have a total of 3 million monthly active users. We have an annualized bookkeeping transaction volume of $25.9 billion USD or the equivalent of about 2.2% of Indonesia’s gross domestic product. In September 2020, Bukukas acquired a digital accounting application called Catatan Keuangan Harian to expand the market share before launching an e-commerce platform called Tokko that enables MSMEs to set up online stores. Approximately 1.3 million merchants have created stores using Tokko in the six months since its launch. Tokko focuses on merchants who find large markets too complicated and want an alternative way of setting up an online brand. In April 2021, we launched BukuKasPay for business owners to pay providers online or accept digital payments, including virtual bank accounts and electronic wallets. Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining our DataWarehouse (in Google Cloud)
• Responsible for building and maintaining our end-to-end data pipelines from various data
  sources
• Implement data modeling concept driven by business requirements
• Making sure our BI platform keeps up with the rapid scaling of the company
• Working closely with the Product & Tech team to keep up with the latest developments
• Be part of a growing BI Team that is driving business decisions and product development
• Preparing our Machine Learning capabilities
• Responsible for building and maintaining our end-to-end data pipelines from various data sources
• Implement data modeling concept driven by business requirements
• Making sure our BI platform keeps up with the rapid scaling of the company
• Working closely with the Product & Tech team to keep up with the latest developments
• Be part of a growing BI Team that is driving business decisions and product development
• Preparing our Machine Learning capabilities

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience in building data pipelines
• Strong SQL and ETL skills are a must
• Advanced in at least one programing language python or java
• Strong analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude
• Proficient in batch and real-time data processing
• Experience in working with cloud-based solutions (preferably GCP)
• Ability to communicate with a technical and non-technical audience
• Be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Entrepreneurial and innovative thinker who will keep up with the growth of the company
• Experience in Machine Learning would be a plus
