M Inc Hiring for Accounts & Finance Manager at Remote Full Time

A North American based Software company has a vacancy for a full time Research Analyst to work remotely (offshore).

Job Summary and Purpose:
The accounts and finance manager will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, payroll, assistance with end-of-month close, grant reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties as assigned. The person will work closely with and report to the accounts and finance director.

Preparing the financial plan, which projects revenues, expenditures, and financing needs over a given period. Obtaining funding and seeking the best balance between debt and equity.

Specific Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and payroll
• Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgets that are adequate for the organization’s needs including preparation of periodic budget forecasts.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow analyses as needed
• Analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flows)
• Assist in preparing year-end books for audit

• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and general ledger accounts
• Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization
• Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives
• Achieve a proper mix of equity and debt to minimize cost and maximize operational profit
• Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions

Qualifications/Experience

• Degree in finance/accounting or related (essential)
• Knowledge of International Accounting Standards
• 5 years minimum of work experience as a Accounts & Finance Manager
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, any ERP and financial planning software.
• Knowledge of company valuation and fund raising
