Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Co-ordinate the Quality Planning & Assurance activities during New Product Development

Facilitate, Participate, monitor quality planning activities in the program

Prepare, Propose & monitor Quality Targets for New Products.

Develop Quality Plans & ensure timely Product evaluations to assess gaps for corrective actions.

Monitor & drive for Reliability Growth Analysis. Ensure MTBF targets are met as per set targets

Facilitate problem solving methodology and ensure closure of product concerns, use of suitable methodology such as QC Story & 8D

Generate Quality Dashboard by highlighting Quality Red alerts/Risks

Drive, Assess & track MEPDS / MEGDS Gateway deliverables of project and publish status

Coordinate quality events – Quality target sign off, Bench marking, FI Jury target & evaluation Horizontal deployment of M&M best practices related to quality planning

Experience

10-12 years preferably in Projects development work & Quality function

Industry Preferred

EV , Tier I of EV ,Automobile Industry in Product Development with Quality Background

Qualifications

BE (Electrical/Electronics/Mech/ Auto)

General Requirements

Good understanding of New Product Development process

Knowledge of basic and advanced problem solving tools such as 8D & QC tools etc.,

In depth Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA & SPC

Electric Product & Process Knowledge

Awareness of Quality systems – ISO/TS 16949/IATF standard

Auditing skills – Process, Product and System

Excellent computer skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
