Job Purpose:
Creation of design intention in 3D Clay models of vehicles & components, for vehicle exterior & interior.

Major Responsibilities:
Confer with designers & industrial design manager to understand the design intention volume, project timeline & quality requirement.

Create 3D clay models from the design intent by seeking excellence in defining, producing & tuning volumes.

Participation in design & engineering convergence activities to ensure implementation of technical inputs and maintaining Clay model standard quality regulations.

Deliver Clay models respecting rules according to the progress of the project, with respect to project milestone timing and quality requirement.

Share the Clay mock-up process with business manager throughout the project, present the Clay model during reviews.

Benchmarking competitor vehicles for mapping of best practices and industry standards to propose robust solutions.

Qualifications and Experience Levels:
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or above in Transportation Design/Industrial Design/ Product Design/Mechanical engineering

0-7 years of automobile styling related development experience; more than 2-3 vehicle project development experience.

Professional ability: excellent 3D Volume design ability in Clay modelling. Good knowledge of Clay modelling techniques. Proficient in Use of clay modelling tools. familiar with automotive design and development process, and well verse in the usage of CATIA/Alias and other 3D design software.

Fluent English communication skills and teamwork.
