Responsibilities:

• Speak to parents and tell them about MakersLoft courses, schedule demos
• Convert leads into admissions
• Develop excellent working relationships and communicate courteously with the mentors and students to encourage new business with existing clients.
• Provide professional and quality counselling service.
• Respond to calls and e-mail in a timely and professional manner
• Manage and resolve any complaints, in an efficient and time critical manner
• Handle scheduling classes.
• Maintain accurate and complete student records

Qualifications:

• Previous experience handling centre
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.
• Experience in students help desk, sales co-ordinator / counselling
• Computer proficiency and tech savvy is required

Timings: 10am to 6pm. Monday to Saturday full-day

Science / STEM / Robotics Teacher (Part Time)NEW!

Job description

MakersLoft is looking for experienced teachers who can teach Robotics – Science & technology in a fun and practical way through hands-on experiments using world-class STEM kits and platforms. Training in STEM kits will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Teach STEM and robotics to students of grades 2-6 using STEM kits. Classes will be held in activity centres at Bangalore
• Conduct workshops, summer camps and competitions
• Conduct students’ assessment and give feedback to parents
• Assist in educational events and activities
• Counsel students and parents about courses of MakersLoft
• Assist in developing and improving curriculum and course content
• Training will be provided on the STEM kits, curriculum, content, pedagogy and processes that will be used to teach students.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years teaching experience
• Preferred: Computer Science / Physics / Mathematics. Other science streams can also apply.
• Experienced in conducting hands-on science experiments and teaching in a practical, fun and playful manner
• Should be able to engage children and make learning an enjoyable experience
• Excellent English communication skills and interpersonal skills – should be able to establish good rapport with children and parents
• Computer proficiency and tech savvy is required.

Part time: 3 days a week (4 hours per day) and Saturday Full-day

Pre-school teacher, Bangalore (Part-time)

MakersLoft, an institute for hands-on learning, is looking for trained and experienced pre-school teachers to teach 2-5 year olds through hands-on building blocks.

Responsibilities and Duties

Teach 2-5 year olds through hands-on building Lego blocks – numbers, vocabulary, story- telling, shapes, patterns, colours, animals, birds, vehicles, machines, friends and community etc.

Document students learning in each class and conduct quarterly assessments.

Give regular feedback to parents.

Maintain the Lego kits, teaching materials etc. in proper condition.

Assist in developing curriculum and course content.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Graduates with atleast 2-3 years teaching experience in a pre-school.

Candidate should be good at craft projects and nursery rhymes.

Candidate must have excellent English communication skills.

Part time: 3 days a week, (4hours per day) and Saturday Full-day
