Technology Planner

Responsibilities : –

Meticulous planning and execution to ensure successful Technology development to delight the customers.

Prepare proposals for long term technology planning, Update/Review roadmap after discussion with stakeholders.

Usage of Agile Design thinking approach for Empathizing the user need and definition of the problem and Ideate the solution.

Study Trends & forecast in Technology advancements and identify the Key changes that will affect consumer buying behavior in future.

Study New Technology proposal in the area of ADAS, Connected, In-car experience and comfort and convenience within depth understanding of Regulatory Environment, Competition, Customer and Company current and future situation. Prepare strategy explanation reports/Presentations for management review.

Identify product feedback from Market research/ Benchmarking, Data analysis for existing and new products and incorporate feedback in new products and detailing of Technology concepts.

Scenario Planning & Business case preparation on various new Technology requirements.

Development management: Conduct project review meetings, Prepare documents & management approvals. Project health monitoring & Coordination with Mkt/Engg/SMC.

Coordination with overseas Technology team and in MSIL for new proposal conceptualization & feature finalization.

Competency Requirements : –

Technical/Functional-

Should have Industry Experience in Agile, Scrum & Design thinking and Usage of Miro and other sprint management Tools.

Should have Experience in Conducting Design thinking workshop and generate Ideas that will give Value to customer beyond Expectation at affordable price.

Good Presentation skill & In-depth knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Should be well versed with latest happenings & emerging technologies in automobile industry, understanding of Indian Consumers & should be able to gauge their impact on MSIL models.

Should have basic technical knowledge of model development process, systems/ sub-systems of vehicle.

Strong Presentation, Communications, Time management and Interpersonal skills

Curiosity to learn and work with new technologies in the Safety, In car experience, comfort and convenience and connectivity domain.

A motivated mind with a self-starter attitude. A start-up mind-set to confront various technological, regulatory and business challenges.

Demonstrated intent or experience in developing new technologies from concept to production.

Should be open to posting anywhere for the job requirement – Should be open to travel to other cities for Business visits

Educational Qualification : –

ESSENTIAL: B.E / B. Tech/ B.DES

DESIRABLE: MBA / M.Tech / M.DES with experience of Technology Planning, execution, understanding of model development process and Agile/Scrum and Design Thinking approach

Minimum 60% marks
