Job role:
1) Independently handling injection mold design of big plastic parts like car Bumper / Instrument panel, Mold flow & cooling analysis (simulation).

2) Know how of plastic part quality issues and injection mold process from machining, assembly & trials issues and to take countermeasures in design

Job Responsibilities:
CAE (mold flow simulation):
1. Capability to do mold flow analysis and cooling analysis for big plastic car parts like Bumpers & Instrument panels

2. Capability of providing countermeasures for mold flow issues

3. Managing closure of all feedback with internal customers

4. knowledge of Autodesk Moldflow software

Mold design:
1. Mold design for big parts like Bumper & Instrument panels

2. Knowledge of hot runner system in Mold

2. Ability to take countermeasures in design for issues in new mold development

4. knowledge of Unigraphics/NX (CAD) & Teamcenter (PLM) software

Mold manufacturing:
1. Machining knowledge

2. Mold assembly & Trial knowledge

3. Inspection of mold at various stages of manufacturing

4. Trials & proving of Molds

Competencies / Skills:
Desirable : Good knowledge of softwares UG NX, Autodesk Moldflow. Experience in Automobile OEM industry preferred.
