Tool Room and Die Shop
: Press/ Panel CNC Programming/ NC data making
Qualification
: Diploma in Tool & Die / Mechanical
Job Responsibility:
1) Independent handling of CNC shift operations (A,B & C shifts).
2) Manpower handling at operator level.
3) Manufacturing process planning of die parts.
4) Machining feasibility of dies – Drawing study & checking.
5) Part completion as per timeline given by Shift in-charge.
6) New Tooling trial.
7) Tooling inventory management.
8) Die parts Quality monitoring.
9) Target vs. Actual analysis.
10) Daily update of time sheet.
Competency:
1) Good drawing reading skills & knowledge of Fits & Tolerances.
2) Knowledge of complete CNC operations.
3) Knowledge of FANUC CONTROLS
4) Able to generate MACRO CNC programs.
5) Knowledge of various cutting Tools and clamping systems.
6) Knowledge of panel dies/ Die casting dies manufacturing.
(Preferably worked in l dies development industry of automobile components)
7) Able to make die machining process planning sheet independently.
8) Knowledge of different die materials.
9) Ability to take CNC machining operation decision independently.
10) Knowledge of CAM programming software
(UG NX / POWERMIULL) shall be given added advantage.
