R&D Development Engineer (Java/Clojure)

Roles and Responsibilities

· Able to troubleshoot and debug microservices using distributed systems tracing, NewRelic or SumoLogic and other APMs, & log aggregating and reporting tools

· Capable of developing useful modules and shared libraries (modules, packages) to solve common problems across projects.

· Technical competency in using middleware for tracing/observability, authentication/security, and service request & response monitoring

· Understands and is able to setup and execute automated functional, load/performance and UI tests

Qualifications:

· 5+ years’ experience with Java (Spring Dagger), Clojure

· 5+ years’ experience developing and maintaining production applications

· B.S. in computer science or similar field or equivalent experience.

· Working knowledge of Java and hands on with functional programming (Clojure), experience with React (Type script) a plus

· Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and technologies a plus

· Experience working in a regulated environment or with clinical research processes a plus
