Our client is a leading EV Component manufacturer. Our client is a global player in the domain of electric drives and motors with industry leading EV Tech (axial flux and radial flux technology) and a potential to exponentially expand in the ever growing EV market in India.

Job Description

Managing end to end stores and warehousing operations including all the processes i.e., inbound, outbound, inventory management, 3PL and distribution.

Creating the vision and strategy for distirbution and warehousing across India, establishing the greenfield warehousing footprint and the team to deliver this strategy.

Leading and facilitating collaboration between warehouse sites across India and supply chain functions to maximize customer service while balancing inventory investment and operating expense..

Driving common processes, disciplines, systems and metrics across the sales & operations planning function by leveraging ERP (SAP), WMS and advanced planning systems to enable best practice operating efficiencies.

Utilizing and refining of key performance indicators (KPI) to monitor and drive performance and continuous improvement, ensuring strict compliance with regulations, and group standards.

Assessing, developing, and refining the overall planning, warehousing, distribution, and logistics skill set in the organization.

Driving operational excellence and best practices to improve the supply chain process.

The Successful Applicant

Be an engineer with 10+ years of supply chain experience with a key focus on warehousing in an Auto OEM/Auto component industry.

Be systems savvy and have had experience in optimizing performance through effective utilization of SAP & WMS systems.

Have considerable knowledge of financial, analytical and P&L skills besides ability to work in multi-functional teams.

Have the ability to develop & execute business continuity/strategic plans to provide direction toward the achievement of financial targets.

Exhibit in depth knowledge of latest supply chain / logistics processes, LEAN methods & current best practices.

Have a strong ‘hands-on’ people management, interpersonal skills, stakeholder management, team building, leadership and coaching skills.
