Job Description

:
Responsibilities:

• Analyze & understand product features and usage, in order to provide inputs to estimation & schedules, develop effective test strategy
• Design right test strategy keeping in mind product features, design and customer.
• Define test strategy and automate test cases, maintain automated test cases and execute
• Understand the customer usage and define appropriate environment to mimic customer environment for the testing
• Creating nonfunctional test plans to ensure product stability under load.
• Ability to working with different stake holders in creating nonfunctional testing backlog for the product & execute them
• Strong debugging skills
• Strong understand of system concepts.
• Proposes and advocate automation technology concepts, influence improvements, report potential risk and plan for contingencies
• Mentoring team members on testing knowledge and test case automation
• Continuous learning and refinement of testing and NF testing strategy
• Collaborate with development teams in order to understand the features getting developed during the sprint, usage and use cases. Implement this knowledge in automating the test cases
• Engage in small scale innovation/value addition in testing and automation & encourage the team in this direction
• Provide feedback and recommendations to testing and automation developers on creating quality automation for the features.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Above 7 years experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• In-depth knowledge in testing and Automation domains, with networking and Linux operating systems knowledge
• Maintenance of the existing test cases automation code
• Automate test cases using JAVA/Junit
• Well versed in Linux, Windows OS usage, Networking
• File Systems & ACL management
• System Concepts
• Proficiency in Web Application Testing
• Experience in deploying & managing virtual infrastructure
• Expertise on Testing REST API
• Exposure to Load/Performance testing tools using JMeter.
