Microsoft Looking For Product Manager at Bengaluru, Karnataka, Full Time

The Microsoft Azure Storage Product team is looking for a Product Manager to drive the data management capabilities of Azure Files. You will be responsible to understand and propose business investments centered around customer’s Azure Files usage and optimize the consumption so that they can build cost effective applications using Azure files. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple component teams inside Microsoft Azure and to launch successful product enhancements that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

• You will learn to understand one or more success criteria of a feature. You’ll also help identify short-term investment opportunities and help engage others for sucecss of the feature.
• You will develop the ability to define a feature and will take part in facilitating usability reviews with customers. You’ll understand how your own feature integrates with the general roadmap, and will coordinate with others to identify problems through scenario walkthroughs.
• You will assist in helping to build marketing, roll-out plans, and customer support plans. You’ll also promote the feature you worked on and present at events.
• You will collect performance metrics and form hypotheses to incrementally improve product development in specific areas. You’ll also learn to manage customer communities and help build trust with targeted customers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines
• OR equivalent experience.
• Analytical skills, able to make informed tradeoffs, and able to break down and solve complex and often ambiguous problems.
• Ability to work with and influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Other Qualifications

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Science, Engineering, or related disciplines, AND 1+ year(s) of experience in product/service/project/program management
• OR software development
• OR equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, product development OR equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
