Job Description

We are looking for a Middle Oracle Apps/Core DBA/Admin to join our team, who will help us work on a database system.
Responsibilities:
Perform all aspects of database administration including installs, builds, upgrades, object sizing, object creation, users, backup/recovery, patches, monitoring, export/imports, and SQL loader
Perform SQL Server and Oracle Database and Application server administration
Engage with external customer and internal service delivery team to gather new requirements
Creation of Business requirement documents
Creation of HLD and LLD documents to be shared for implementation
Participation in design reviews with other SMEs for projects
Investigation & troubleshooting of issues reported by customers/partners and internal users
Drive best practices across the service delivery team

Qualifications

Must be Very Good hands proven skills in Core Oracle database administrator work
Good to have Oracle Enterprise Management experience
Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software with TLS/SSL enablement.
Creating storage database structures with high-level security features.
Monitoring and Altering various Database issues.
Setting up database user accounts, roles, profiles, etc, and being able to integrate with Identity manager.
Hands-on configuring Data Guard and able to triage any out-of-sync issues between Primary and Secondary databases
Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity.
Creating autonomous database backups. Hands-on Database Refresh and Clone tasks.
Regularly updating the database security protocols. Hands-on experience on TLS/SSL Certificate application and rotation.
Familiarity with Oracle database design, coding, and documentation.
Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Unix Shell scripting, and API.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to create and explain ASH, AWR, and other performance-related reports
Good to have AWS Cloud knowledge.
Must have good Linux Admin skills.
