Global Wealth Management Operations provides brokerage, investment and financial services to hundreds of thousands of individual investors. Morgan Stanley has one of the largest retail brokerage networks, with numerous worldwide representatives and retail locations. Our services are tailored to each client’s investment objectives, risk tolerance, and financial needs. Products include mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and alternative investments where appropriate, as well as banking, mortgages, insurance and annuities.

We are seeking an individual for the position of Mortgage Monitoring Analyst who will provide support and assist in Home Loans Servicing Oversight.

Primary Responsibilities
-Pulling reports and completing review to identify exceptions and areas for research
-Review servicing related documents to ensure appropriate set up of payment/insurance information
-Enter and report on escalations / manage working with servicer for feedback and response back
-Assist with research activities, including reconciliation of data, and working with servicer to address as needed
-Analyze and present findings using excel and power point or other business analysis tools
-Complete loan level reviews for accounts in various stages of servicing administrative activity
-Follow up with internal and external parties for action
-Review the servicing system and complete reviews to identify root cause of potential issues raised

Skills required
-Knowledge of mortgage servicing and client service experience is a plus
-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills required
-Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership; ability to manage time, prioritize and plan accordingly
-Proficient in the use of a variety of systems for accurate reporting and tracking; including MS Office (Word, EXCEL, Outlook, PowerPoint)
